Hexagon Technology Inc (Hexagon) is a multidisciplinary engineering team based in Oakville, Ontario. In close cooperation with it’s partners, Hexagon has provided services to many projects of all sizes. We have been providing multidiscipline engineering, including Industrial Internet of Things solutions, Machine Learning & AI, automation services for over 30 years. Our procedures follow PMI methods and are performed per ISO 9001(2015). Hexagon has completed many diversified projects applying safety related consulting and Functional Safety Assessment certification to the IEC 61508 and/or the ANSI/ISA S.84 standards for programmable controller based safety rated SIL systems.

Projects listed below:

• Machine Leaning (ML), AI Projects -
- Gathered Client requirements and developed Front-End for an automated foundation inspection system incorporating machine learning and composed of 1000 data points.
- Developed procedures for software test, validate, launch - Developed all project documentation

- Formed an international product development team to design AI-based engine to interpret NDT – Non- Destructive Testing – data for piping and pressure vessels.

- Using OpenCV, created a classification and identification system to improve performance of a Sound and Vibration test booth.
- Using Tensorflow, performed cluster analysis on automated process alarm dataset to detect and find solutions to hidden issues.
- Used ML regression algorithms in business to predict and decided courses of action - Real Estate and Retail applications.

• NASA - VAB Crane Automation Upgrade:
- Designed and configured Visualization Front-End software
package to Simulate crane for testing and validating new
automation system.
- Designed and programmed model to simulate equipment
performance and response to changing environment.
- Development of project documentation according to
standards.


• KAMI Mine and Port facilities
- Designed automation architecture incorporating IP
network technology for cybersecurity countermeasures
and fault tolerance.
- Worked closely with Client technical and business
stakeholders to validate and select technology that best matches operations and overall business systems such as production scheduling and planning.
- Selected and developed technology platforms and architectures for the various systems
- Implemented an expert system for engineering specification development.
